Back in 2008, I started writing My Baking Adventures and The Brownie Project as a creative outlet for my baking habit. Due to an extreme change in my life, I shut down My Baking Adventures and took some time off to readjust and focus on myself and the posse. Although I missed my online baking groups and friends that I had made, I did what was best for me at the time.
Three years ago, I knew I was ready to jump back into the blogging world and started Megan’s Sweet Life, a new site for a fresh start and beginning. It’s been wonderful to see how much the blogging world has changed in the past few years (especially since I first started), and reconnecting with many of my co-conspirators in the butter/sugar/flour world.
For many people, their blogs are a business; for me, it allows me to do what I enjoy most: bake and write, and share the (often) hilarious parts of my day to day life with the world.
Even if my dad is the only one that reads this
